Question #2:

Transfer & Selling of a Sirius radio ?

I have a Sirius Radio at home with a boombox that i barely ever listen to. I'm thinking about selling it but i'm wondering how should i proceed to transfer the account associate with the radio ? Is that even permitted ?
So if i cancel my account the new owner will have to create it's own account with the radio serial number ? The serial number of the radio can be used to create multiples accounts and is not linked permanantly once the account is cancelled right ?

Question #3:

I have a Sirius car receiver that I would like to find a boombox for, but would also like the convenience of having an ipod dock on the same unit. I have checked Best Buy and Sirius online and am having trouble.

Question #5:

I want to use a 12v 5 watt solar batt charger to power my sirius boombox. How can I do this?

I am trying to find a way to power my sirius sattelite boom box using solar. I was thinking of using the 12v 5 watt panel offered on harborfreight.com (ITEM 41144-0VGA) with my boombox (SUBX2.) The only problem that I see is the input voltage on the boombox is 12v 3amps where the solar cell is 5 amps. How do I regulate the ampreage?

Question #6:

Will a Sirius XM Mirge radio work with a universal Sirius radio boombox?

I currently have a Sportster 5 playing on a Sirius universal boombox. If I get a mirge radio, will I be able to use it with the equipment I already have? I was also wondering if I would need to buy a new home antenna to pick up a signal from both Sirius and XM satellites.

Question #7:

Does anybody know if I can buy the battery cover for the boombox? One of my battery covers is broken, and its an extreme piss-off since this is the first time I've used it!!!!

Brouz posted a question on this about 2 weeks ago, but I wanted to know if anyone has any updated information on whether or not they will bring back the stations.
If not, are there any plans for new channels with similar music?

Question #10:

Sirius cancelled Boombox and Backspin?

Sirius Satellite radio dropped 2 of my 3 favorite stations! And, actually, Boombox 39 (originally 34) was the only reason i kept my service. So tomorrow i'm going to cancel my service. Anyone else upset by this?

Question #13:

If you have Sirius radio, specifically the Sportster 5, can you hook it up to a stereo to listeN?

Or do you have to buy the Sirius boombox? Because personally, I think the Sirius boombox is ugly and a waste of money. But would the antenna built into a standard stereo be enough for the Sportster to receive good reception?
I mean to listen to inside of your house.

Question #14:

How to stop/eliminate static from Sirius radio in car???

When I got my Sirius installed in my car, it worked fine, the next day there was lot's of static!! Ahh! But it works fine from the boombox. I had it professionally installed too. Is it the antenna?

Question #15:

Need help with my sirius radio?

Lately I cannot get much of a signal in my house when using my boombox. It either says no antena or it will say aquiring signal. I have it in the same place I have had it for a year. I am very confused to why it is doing this. If I do get a signal it is only briefly and it is so bad that its choppy.

Question #16:

Do I replace my Sirius radio or wait?

I have a Sirius Starmate Replay 2. The audio output has finally broke due to moving it from the car, to the house, to the boombox too many times. It is out of warranty and Sirius doesn't fix them. I would need to take it to a tv repair place and it would cost me about $60 just to have that one piece soldered. I am using the FM transmitter right now, which really stinks, that's why I started using the audio output jack with a cassette adapter in the first place.

I have purchased what I thought was a new one on-line, but it didn't work. I had to pay for shipping it back and a 20% restocking fee. There is another radio, the Streamer GTR which is the sister unit the the Starmate Replay, but I they're about $100.

I'll be purchasing a new car in the next 3 or 4 months that will have a Sirius radio factory installed. I'm trying to avoid buying new docking stations and a boombox which only those two radios are compatable with. Should I wait until I buy the car, or buy a cheap one to get by?

Question #17:

I got a Sirius Home Kit and don't wanna connect to my home entertainment system. Any other options??

I would rather take it up to the cottage with me and don't have a home entertainment system there. Can I just buy some speakers alone and plug the audio cables in it? If so, how? Where do the white/red audio cables plug into to? I'm no good with these kinds of things! I know i can just buy a boombox, but Sirius gave me the home kit for free.... Thanks!
Can I use regular computer speakers???
Would speakers like this work with it???

Question #20:

Question about Sirius Satellite Radio accessories. Boombox or radio dock for TV stereo surround Hookup?

My boyfriend's birthday is next week and I have decided to get him a Sirius satellite radio and car kit. I want him to be able to listen to it at home too. So I was thinking about getting him the dock that he can hook into the TV speaker system. But he also plays xbox, using the surround sound speakers hooked up to the TV, so i figured he might like the boombox...so he could listen while like playing games and stuff, or maybe he wont want to?
The dock is also a lot cheaper than buying the boombox...so I am weighing out the options...
